I have to brag on my boy Melvin for a second. Today he did pony rides for the kids and then worked for me. He jumped a 2'6" fence like a pro, he worked in the dressage ring and let me cool him out bareback with a lead rope. He is amazing! I really love this horse and am so grateful to Dawn Bazemore and Faith Equine Rescue. This boy is amazing. If you are looking for a pet-any pet-please look at your local rescues first. Rescued animals are special and so appreciative of love. Melvin would probably walk through fire if it meant a big pat and praise.
